Our Support Staff

Learning Support Assistants: We are lucky to have a large number of Learning Support Assistants at Horfield School- here are some of them. They fulfill a number of roles including individual support for children with learning or physical difficulties, general classroom assistance for group work and art and keeping the school running smoothly from day to day!!

Administrative Staff: In the Office you will find our busy secretary, and other administrative support staff dealing with such matters as attendance, finance, health and safety.

Our 'School Meal Supervisory Assistants': Lunchtimes are kept running smoothly with the help of a team of SMSA's, who brave all weathers to supervise meal times and the children in the playground.

We also have a team of hard working cooks in our own kitchens, and a dedicated caretaker who looks after the day to day maintenance of the school, along with his team.
