| Our school is a Church of England (Controlled) Primary School catering for children between the ages of four and eleven. There are 380 children in 14 classes. The school has a hall, ICT suite, library, small workroom, administration offices and staffroom although during the 2007/08 school year a substantial building project costing approximately £1.5 million will take place. This project will replace 4 temporary classrooms with permanent buildings and at the same time there will be a new ICT suite, library, office accomadation and small group work rooms. There is also an after school club called Henrys. The school grounds are quite extensive and include a playing field and a conservation area with a pond. We also have a cycle shelter and a Cycle Training Track around the perimeter of the field. In one corner of the field we have a vegetable garden, which children use to grow fruit and vegetables. Our latest acquisition is a Ugandan style shelter complete with thatched roof that is used by parents and children. |
