The dates for the February Holiday Programme are February 18th and February 22nd with costs at £1.15 for one day and £2.25 for both. Lateness There has been a great improvement in children coming in on time this week so thank you. However, there are still children who are consistently collected late at the end of school - and this is an ongoing source of distress for the younger children especially. Students of the Week: Students of the Week in year 6 are Sian Warner for working hard to improve her writing and Jessica Webber for her pleasant manner and general helpfulness. Assembly Theme: Our assembly theme for next week is Welcoming. Visit to Poland Next week our Year 6 children will be gathering in the hall at 4.00am on Monday morning as the first part of their exciting journey to our partner school in Mszana Dolna, Poland. The children have a really busy and interesting itinerary for the week and we hope they all have a really good time. We will look forward to a full report in this newsletter in a few weeks’ time. PS. the Polish teachers have just emailed to say that winter has returned to Poland and that there is lots of new fresh snow! A.Sutton - Headteacher
