PEACE MY BROTHERS WE WILL UNITE TO THE WOLRD!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

One day when I was on holiday my dad took me to watch the boats come into the lock gates at Cumberland Basin. The man who works there said to my dad would you and your son like to watch from the bridge control tower. When we were there I was allowed to prees the buttons that do the lights that stops the traffic. And I was allowed to press the buttons that closes the barriers and I pressed the buttons that opens and closes the big swing bridge. Its called Plimsoll bridge and its in Bristol. It was really fun cus the man said not many people are allowed in the control tower.

Ages since I went ot this school, and I now live in WIltshire.

hey everyone!!!! i cant believe that its been nearly 3 years since i left horfield, i still think its the best primary school ever, n i miss every1 there. I think Mr sutton is the best headmaster ever, n i will b really sad when he retires even though i dont go there any more. I'd like 2 say hi to Miss Tucker, even though i know she's Mrs Caporn now but i still remeber her as Miss Tucker. She taught me for 2 years n i really miss her, she's a great teacher. also to Miss Grayham, Ms Lewis, Mrs Dowse, Mr Warbuton n all the other people who taught me in my 7 years there.

I cried so much when I left this school. I could have never had a better time here. Good luck to all of year 6 who are leaving on Friday to go on to their new schools. Also we would like to wish Mrs Green a long and happy retirement, you taught Jessica for 3 years and Matthew for 1 year and they both really enjoyed the time they were in your class, they also learnt an awful lot during their time with you. Horfield CEVC will not be the same without you!!

I started my first term Sept 1955.I ran away 3 times on day 1, and was taken back by my mother,who didnt have a good sense of humour about my consistent escaping. Education was pretty frightening stuff in those days.
Before I moved to senior school(Monks Park), I was sent packing (with my twin sister Liz) to the Upper School, which is now Manor Farm Boys Club. Anyone else out there who remembers this far back?

Great website. I started my schooling at this school (only for a term) and appeared as a little nut tree in a play!! Now I am Deputy Head in Southampton!! I bumped into one of your teachers(Year 4?) in Kwikfit but did not realise the school she and I were talking about was my starting place!! Spooky!!

Every week i look up on the school webstite its really good. I would like to say well done to my friends in year 6 who were worried about sats it came out as a good week and the best thing is that we played rounders in the sun in the afternoons.I would like to say a big thank you to the teachers for helping us through this week.

We only started going to Horfield Cof E school recently but we think that it's great. The teachers are nice, so are school dinners and we like the cake sales.

Just stumbled across this website, whilst not revising for my exams. I left Horfield in 1993, and am now coming towards the end of my second year at Bournemouth University. I thought Horfield was a great school, with great teachers, although I didn't appreciate this at the time. It is good to see some of the same names there now as when as I was there. I think the website is very good, and it looks as though the school is still maintaining it's excellent standards. Well done.

I was a pupil at the school from 1985-1990. It was a very good school at the time for which i have many pleasant memories. I am glad to see you are still going strong, and I hope to pop in and see a few of my old teachers soon to say hello.....
