The School actively promotes swimming by arranging lessons for Infant and Junior children.Children in Years 1 and 2 have the opportunity to swim at the Dolphin pool in Filton. The school organises the pool hire, instruction and transport and parents are invited to make an appropriate donation towards the costs. We ask that all children remove studs from ears before swimming.
Children in Years 3 and 4 share Friday afternoon swimming lessons with children in Years 5 and 6. The swimming is organised so that a class will swim for a block of 10 consecutive weeks. As there is no longer any subsidy towards swimming parents are once again invited to make a donation towards the costs borne by the school.
